Cannon Falls on Cannon River
The Cannon River hosts a set of waterfalls called Cannon Falls in the city of Cannon Falls, Minnesota. They are easy to find, and in the summertime make a cool stop in a heat-wave. The falls start with a short drop, followed by a larger second drop then turn into cascading rapids. Around the falls the river is quite shallow, which makes for great wading and photography opportunities. And it's free!
