Iowa is largely prairie land throughout much of the state, is not known for it's waterfalls but it does have a few. Pike's Peak State Park , by the confluence of the Mississipi and Wisconsin Rivers, hosts a little waterfall named Bridal Veil Falls, named this due to how it looks in Winter. Beed's Lake State Park has a very large limestone man-made falls called a spillway. Decorah has two Spring waterfalls.
