The largest body of fresh water or lake in the world is Lake Superior. It is bordered by Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan U.P. in the United States, and Ontario, Canada. The shores of this great lake contain many red cliffs, sandy and rocky beaches and the mouths of many rivers with waterfalls. The waves roll in on the North Shore all through the year, even at sub-zero temperatures. Also see the Arch that collapsed at Tettegouche State Park.
