The St Croix River offers a lot in the way of scenery, with State Parks along both the Minnesota and the Wisconsin sides and many rest-stops, canoe and motorboat landings affording spectacular views of the red cliffs, giant boulders and potholes, deciduous and pine trees, wildflowers and wildlife.
