Bunker Banner

There*s a big wall near the White House. Where the names of soldiers lie. The Flowers there are sprinkled. by the tears of loved ones* eyes.

I stood there not so long ago, with tokens for the brave. When suddenly I heard their voices, as they spoke out from their graves:

"We are the wasted soldiers, and there are a few unanswered questions we must ask you man to man. Are our buddies being taken care of? Was that near victory complete, or is the big reward they promised, doing fixes in the street? Do those gold stars in the windows now mean anything at all? We wonder how our girlfriends feel, when they hear a bugle call? And what about the profiteers. Did they satisfy their greed? Then there are our families; Are they ever in dire need?"

"Yes, we are the Viet Nam warriors, Maybe we died in vain. But, if we were alive today, and our country called. We would do it all again!"
