It's never easy to say goodbye.
How do you stop your heart from breaking?
From losing a friend before their time?
Before I'm ready to let you go.
Before I'm ready to lose my friend?
I know you're tired and want to go home.
I know you're prepared and ready to leave.
You have everything in order and just awaiting God.
To take you home, where your suffering will be done.
It is the ones left behind that suffer the loss.
And my life will be empty without our talks.
So, I will walk with you in my dreams,
In a garden of Roses,
And hold your memory close to my heart.
Keeping you with me always.
Until we meet in Heaven's Garden,
Surrounded by all of God's Glory
And our bodies no longer suffer.
We will hug and greet each other...
We will talk of times gone by.,
And never be apart!
