Mother & Dad

Our happy home was shattered one day, The angels came and took mother away, Our hearts were so burdened, we couldnt go on, Without Mother, our house was no home. Our hearts were so heavy, we hought only of ourselves,



Forgetting poor Daddy and how sadly he felt, But then it seems that mother's make the home, And all of us kids,,,we just wanted to roam,



So far, far away from the sorrow we had felt, Forgetting Daddy, yes once again we had failed. So the years went by, quite a few past and gone, And it seemed mother spoke to me, asking me to go home,



"He's still your Father, and he'll always be, He needs you now, more than ever before, Go home to Daddy, dont stay away anymore, I cant be with you...so do this for me,



Give him the love that you have for me, Show him the kindness that he deserves, Your Father wont be with you forever...you know he's getting along in years, and when you go home,



Take a smile with you, give him a little of the happiness for all the year's he's given to me and to you" Now Dad and I are much closer today, And in some way I pray... I can be worthy of the parents I have, I love you both... Mother and Dad
