Reach Out A Helping Hand
********************
Abraham, Bobby, & John
In this land of grief and despair, No one bothers to utter a prayer, Our boys are dying in a foreign land, Won't someone reach out a helping hand?
***********
Our neighbors pass you on the street, But drop their heads so they won't have to speak, And this deadly illness has crept into our schools, Where once our children were taught the golden rule.
***********
Our Nation, once brave and strong, Our boys gave their lifes to protect our homes, But now, they come and drag them away, Oh! wicked Nation, have you forgotten how to pray?
***********
America, the land of the brave and free, These words are sometimes hard to believe, Rioting, killing, trouble in our beautiful land, Oh, won't someone reach out a helping hand?
***********
We've forgotten God, Love, and Liberty, The things that should come first, to you and me, The things our forefathers fought and died for, so we may be free, Oh, shame that this has befallen you and me!
***********
Reach out a helping hand, To someone in this troubled land, Help rebuild our Nation................If we can!!
