Stolen Moments
As our two bodies meet, fused within passions
of this fiery embrace,
Lips part to taste love's sweet wine.
Burning with the memory of your lovely face. Hands exploring, branding you forever mine. Fingers touching softly upon your flesh.
Stolen moments, bodies entwined.
No longer you and I.
We have bound our core
Soft whispers that cry out with ecstasy,
Float upon the cool night air.
As bodies crash within, like waves upon a shore.
Feeling emotions never felt before.
And as we are lifted up, like a cloud to the peaks of Heaven,
Exploding into a million stars above.
Floating gently back to the sanctuary of your arms.
But alas,. time is brief.,
This night of passion must now cease.
For here is the morning sun.
And I promise once again to not weep.
As rivulets of salty tears fall from my face.
You depart from our warm embrace.
And I wish I could stop time and space within this moment.
To be loved in your arms once more..
And feel your breath upon my lips.
Entreating within to wed.
But this is all that we shall be...
These stolen moments when our bodies meet.
For now is not our time..
And I wish I could make you see.
And why with these tears,
I must set you free.
