I've Learned !








You say this and that,
And you always will.
You never face the facts,
You blame your problems on everyone else,
But yourself !
You always run, and now I know why.
I've caught up to you,
I've learned.

What you do will get you thrown in jail.
And you will blame it on everyone,
But yourself.
I guess you never learned your lesson,
Well, I've learned.

I went my own way,
I was smart,
And Made my own foot steps,
I'm a leader, not a follower.
I may be your daughter,
You can call me your baby girl,
But you need to remember,
I'm not a baby anymore,
I'm not stupid,
I've learned.

I have hopes and dreams!
And nothing, Not even you, will get in my way!
You have made just about every mistake you can.
I've learned.

You had it good for a while,
And you almost kept a promise.
You missed 6 years of Christmas' and Birthdays,
Ever since I was 8, and now I'm 14.
I will never be like that,
Because I've learned from your mistakes.
And two wrongs don't make a right!
That's what I've learned from you, Dad.
