JOURNEY
I climb upwards from depths below,
in an endless struggle climbing up and up,
only stopping briefly to catch my breath.
As I look below me, clouds as far as the eyes can see, with mountain tops piercing upwards through the clouds like children playing peekaboo.
The wind whispering past my ears, and the air so cold and crisp it makes my nose and face tingle, as I stop and look above me, there are a billion flickering stars that fills the heavens.
Each star is an adventure waiting to be explored.
And beyond all this where time itself began, lies Heaven's gate, where God sits and waits for me to come home.
