Make An Ani BannerOriginal Post By: From: Pat Group: Gypsy Jewels Now known as Mslauralou Date: Wed, May 23, 2001 This is for the few of you who don't know how to do this yet. *S* We're going to make a quick and easy animated banner. (So you can let everyone know where to find us. LOL) It's going to look something like this ....  Start by making a directory to store your images. Name it something like animate or ano. This time you get to pick your own blank, font, and colors. These are 2 great places to find a blank... BannerzRus Banner Resources Once you've chosen a blank, take it to Image Magick where you'll delete the http:// in the box and paste the URL of your blank. Once it's loaded, choose 'annotate' on the upper tabs. No numbers for this one. Just fill in the font color (I used lawngreen) point size (I used 45) and font. (Mine is 'bodacious) Choose 'center' and annotate your first word. Next .. 'output' choose 'gif' and the 'single file'. (I usually forget to single file, but it doesn't matter) Next page ~ Click on your image and transload it into your new file, naming it something simple like b1.gif. (These have to be in numerical order) Repeat process with each new word or words. b2.gif b3.gif etc. Now go back to IM .... delete the http:// and enter your webpage addy ending with your new file name and a /slash. (it will look sorta like this .... http://wtv-zone.com/honeybear/animate/ ) Once loaded, click on 'output' 'gif' and 'multi frame file'. That's it! Click on your new banner, and transload it to your website. NOTE:If the banner blinks too fast You will need to use: Loop 0, Delay 100 |
