I WOULD SUGGEST YOU USE THIS TUTORIAL FIRST: Dingbat Painting by Lady Timeless WHEN YOU HAVE THIS DOWN IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF COMPOSITING BACKGROUNDS IN THE PATICULAR AREAS THAT YOU WANT THAT PATTERN. SAMPLE: Flower Dingbat NOW TAKE A BACKGROUND, LIKE THIS ONE Background BRING THE ADDRESS OF BOTH IMAGES TO Image Magick ONCE YOU HAVE THE DINGBAT IMAGE ON THE PAGE, CLICK THE ,b>COMPOSITE TAB AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE PUT IN THE ADDRESS (URL) FOR THE BACKGROUND, MAKE SURE IN IS CLICKED, CHECK THE LITTLE BOX ON THE LOWER LEFT HAND CORNER OF THE COMPOSITE PAGE & PRESS COMPOSITE. THE BG IMG WILL ONLY TAKE ON THE PORTION OF THE FLOWER THAT YOU HAVE COLORED. IT WILL LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THIS: Colored Dingbat YOU WOULD SAVE THIS IAMGE AND THEN DO ANOTHER PORTION OF THE PICTURE. SAVE IT. KEEP DOING THIS UNTIL YOU HAVE ALL PORTIONS OF THE PICTURE COVERED. NOW YOU MUST COMPOSITE ALLTHE PORTIONGS ONE OVER THE OTHER AND YOU HAVE YOUR FINISHED PRODUCT. NOTE: THIS PROCESS TAKES TIME AND THERE ARE SNAGS ALOMG THE WAY BUT I THINK THE EFFECT IS NICE. Geo.... Back to the Index |
