Find an image that you would like to work with. For this tutorial, we will be using this image

You need to know the height and width of the image, to find that, take your image to someplace like The Source. This image is, 218 high and 138 wide.

Now you will need a transparent background to put this image on. It will need to be at least as high and wide as the image. It is sometimes easier if the background is a bit bigger than the image.

Now, take your Transparent Background to Image Magick - the original new addy 26Jul01
OR
Mr Christy's at Mystic
OR
Image Magick - Net4TV

On the first page, remove anything that is in the URL box, and put in the address for the transparent background.

Click on View

You will be taken to a page where you should see an EMPTY space highlighted by your curser.

At the top of the page is a "tab" marked COMPOSITE. Click on it.

On the next page, take out anything that is in the URL box and put in the address for your image.
Scroll down a bit, and use these settings:
GRAVITY = center
LOCATION = +0+0
Now click on the composite button.

Once the image is fully loaded click on the COMPOSITE tab at the top of the page.

In the URL box put the address of the I.F.Flashites that you have chosen from this page.

List of Flashites

From here, you will have to play with the GRAVITY and LOCATION settings to get the Flashite where you want it.

You composite "over" a image

Then you =guess= lol that's right "guess" the placement of the sparkle and keep compositing the one sparkle in different places until you get the desired effect.

Or you could use several different sparkles or images still or animated.to fill different parts of a image.

This is he finished product:
