This might be handy if you are starting to learn how to animate or morph

WE WILL START WITH ANIMATION.

Find an image you like, one that "wants" to move! Like this one.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

NOTE: (SOMETIMES gifs dont work--other times, they do--I dont know why.) So, if you have a GIF, and it doesnt animate right, take it HERE and change it to a JPG.

Take the URL of the JPG to your host (angelfire, geocities, the Zone, whatever) and
OPEN a BRAND NEW directory for it.
Call the new directory ANI

Name the first image  1.jpg (or 1.gif, if it's a gif)

Now, take the URL of image #1 to Image Magic and plug it in.
Hit VIEW.

On the next page, hit TRANSFORM

On the next page, hit FLOP

Now, she looks like this!

Hit OUTPUT On the next page, click on JPG
SINGLE FILE

Now upload that second image to the ANI directory.
Call this image 2.jpg

So, now you have TWO images in your ANI directory.
One "leans" left, the other "leans" right.

C&P EITHER ONE of the two URLS

Go back to Image Magick and plug in the URL, like this

http://www.wtv-zone.com/LassChance/AA/dancer3.jpg

BUT you MUST DELETE THE LAST PART--UP TO THE /   like THIS

http://www.wtv-zone.com/LassChance/AA/

HIT VIEW

The FIRST IMAGE will appear.
HIT OUTPUT

Now, ALL animations are GIFS, so THIS TIME
hit GIF
MULTI FILE
SCROLL DOWN AND PUT A ZERO in the LOOP BOX
In the DELAY box, put 25 for a quarter second,
(50 for a half second, 100 for a full second or 200 for two seconds between shifts.)
I suggest 50 or 100.
Now, OUTPUT your animation and upload it as a GIF to whatever directory you want to keep it in.

and here's our Dancing Gypsy!

SAVE THE ORIGINAL TWO IMAGES, THO--TO morph! EASY, HUH???

Now, Let's MORPH!

Morphing is the same thing as animation, but Image Magick CREATES "interval" images FOR YOU

So, lets have a TOTAL Of 5 FRAMES.

Take the URL for the sub-directory (of your original two images) to Image Magick and plug it in.
Hit VIEW

On rhe next page, hit FX

On the next page, hit MORPH

In the box, put 3
( three "interval" images, plus your two originals=5, right?)
Now, hit the PRESS TO EFFECT button

On the next page, OUTPUT
Click on GIF,
And make sure MULTIFILE is marked

Click on your image, to upload your beautiful morphed image!

WAAAAAHOOOOOOOOO!

Now.....As you saw, the animated gif looks best.
WHY?

Because anmation is best suited for using the same image.

Morphing is best suited to using TWO DIFFERENT IMAGES to begin with! Like this--

I started with the robot and the girl as my first and last mages

Image Magic "made" the three "interval" images

And this is what we got! (give her 30 seconds to load)

HAPPY CREATING!

Note: Sometimes Morph's and Animations are quite large files, so if possible, take them to Gifworks ad OPTIMIZE them.
