Step 2




From the WebTV Home screen, repeat the first few steps.

Click on COMMUNITY

Click on PAGE BUILDER

You will see a list of your pages.
Click on the "graphics" page.

Click on the CHANGE PAGE button.

Click on ADD ITEM

Then click on PICTURE

Then click on YOUR SCRAPBOOK

You will be taken to the pages where all of the images in your scrapbook will be displayed.
Click on the picture you want to use.

You will be taken to the page that lets you type a title or description.

Click on VIEW THIS PICTURE

The image will appear,
Now, look down in your status bar, at the very bottom of your screen.
You will see the IMPORT NUMBER,
It will be importD with a number
and then _gif or _GIF
mailedD
_jpg or _JPG

If you are using a PLUS Model there may be captureD Numbers as well.

Write down the Import Number

** NOTE: CHANGE THE _ BEFORE GIF TO A PERIOD .



Example:
"importD_gif" will be written down as"importD.gif"

Click on your BACK key.

Now, type the import number in the description box.

(Remember to change the _ to a period)

Click DONE

You will now be on the edit page and after it loads, you will see your page with the graphc, and the import number on it.

On the sidebar, on the left, you need to click on PUBLISH

You will now be taken to a page that says
"Congratulations"
"graphics" is now on the web. It can be found at"
and it will list the address (URL) of your page.

Write this address (URL) down.

(the URL should begin like this
http://community.webtv.net______

Now click DONE.

Special Note: Webtv will put a -1, -2 or -3 after the word community in your url.

If the image doesn't show up, remove the -1,-2 or -3.

If you want to use more than one graphic on you page, keep clicking on the ADD ITEM
then PICTURE
Then SCRAPBOOK

Follow the rest of the directions until you have all of the graphics you want.

Just keep a notebook handy to write down the IMPORT NUMBERS of the pictures you want to add.

You have now placed your picture on the page.
