It's your birthday today
Another sad day of many
That I've had to spend alone
Without you to share with me
Since you've gone home
I miss you my darling
My heart aches for you
For your laugh for your voice
I so very much want you back
But there's not a choice
You're sharing all your days
With our Precious Jesus now
Your time spent in heaven
Must be filled with wonder
Soon we'll be together again
Our life in heaven will be forever
An eternity planned from the start
No sickness no tears no failings
No heartache as I have now
We'll never again have to part
I love you my darling
Until we meet again
