God's wrath is upon us His message is clear Our last chance to repent Is drawing near War rages on Corruption abounds There's no place to hide No peace to be found Sin is commonplace Christianity watered down Religions spring up There are cults all around Finding Jesus in the midst Gets harder each day As the word of God Gets thrown away Yes His wrath is upon us His message is clear Our last chance to repent Is drawing near There are earthquakes And global warming Storms in diverse places All give us warning The pelting rains swirl Angry winds blow Letting us realize That Jesus is at the door Buildings are torn Rivers swell Trees are knocked down It feels like hell But hell is far worse Yes far worse than this What we see on earth Is only a mist Of what's to come Ask Jesus to forgive you For all you've done Walk away from sin Give your heart to God When Jesus returns Judgement awaits On the day of the Lord As you stand at the gate Will you walk through To heaven and life Or will you be sent To eternal strife What happens on earth Is just but a taste Of what's to come Beyond heaven's gates Your happiest day Pales in comparison To what awaits Through God's only Son Your most miserable day Is just but a taste Of how bad it will be If in hell you waste Did I already say that I can't say it enough Life in hell Is going to be tough Call out to Jesus He will hear and come To bring you safely Into God's Kingdom Don't let another day pass Before you call out His name The day is fast approaching When it will be too late © Mary Silva July, 2000 John 3:16, 17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
