Many hearts would be laid bare
If Jesus wrote to say
I'm visiting from heaven
With you I'm going to stay

Would jeans be replaced with a dress
Would the contractors be called
To make the house presentable
For the most important visitor of all

Would a trip to the grocer
Break your budget for months
To buy that filet mignon
To be served at lunch

Would the china be washed
The sterling be cleaned
So that Jesus could have
A meal fit for a king

Is that what He'd want
A false presentation
Or wouldn't he rather
Meet the true you

Are you ready for the Master
Are you truly prepared
To stand in His Presence
When the last trumpet blares

You won't have a dress
No contractors there
No filet mignon or china
Your heart will be laid bare

Come to the Master
Just as you are
He knows you and loves you
He loves who you are

He will shape you He will mold you
To who HE wants you to be
He will give you a crown
He will set you on His knee

Don't try to pretend
Don't put on any airs
When you were born
He was there

He breathed your breath of life
He formed you in the womb
He will follow your every move
From birth to the tomb

So come to the Master
Just as you are
He knows you and loves you
And He loves who you are

If you've always felt "not
good enough" to come before
God, you've been right!!

None are good enough. We all
fall short of the Glory of
God. It's only through the
shed blood of Jesus that we
are made righteous...Amen!!

John 3:16 For God so loved
the world, that He gave His
only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have
everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God sent not
his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that
the world through him might
be saved.
