"CUTOUT COOKIES"
(Butter Cookies)



1 cup butter & 1 1/4 cup sugar
cream together


add 3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla mix well


work in 3 cups of flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt


Chill dough overnight.
Roll very thin and cut into desired
shape and bake @ 375 degrees
for about 8 minutes




ICING:
1 cup of sifted powder sugar
1 tablespoon of milk
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
dash of salt


Beat till smooth and spread
on cookiesheet. When the
bottom of the cookie just
starts to change, pull them out!


Just a little good advise
from someone that has burnt
them more than once!!! Enjoy!
