LOUIE’S (REAL) RUM CAKE
          Thanks Louie, you’re the best!


          1 cup chopped nuts
          1 pkg. Yellow cake mix
          1 pkg. Instant vanilla pudding
          4 eggs
          1/2 cup cold water
          1/2 cup oil
          1/2 cup dark rum


          Grease and flour tube pan.
          Sprinkle nuts on bottom.
          Mix well remaining ingredients.
          Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
          To cool, invert on serving dish and
          prick top and sides.

          Glaze:
          1/4 lb. Butter
          1/4 cup water
          1 cup sugar
          1/2 cup dark rum


          Melt butter stir in sugar and water
          and boil 5 minutes. Remove from
          heat and add rum. Drizzle over cake.
