The blue book it is called "Répertoires Alphabétique des Mariages des
Canadiens-francais de 1760-1935.
In the newsgroups is it often
referred to as the blue Drouin.
Drouin is a genealogical
institute in Montreal who did family trees for over 75 years, and
in the 1980's they printed these books.
There are 63 volumes
(encyclopedia size) of marriages in alphabetical order for men
and 44 volumes for women. Widowers remarried more than women...
Two volumes. This is more like a dictionnary.
I believe these books or CD ROMS are available in more Librarys in the U.S. than the sites indicates..
There is also the Red Drouin called "Dictionnaire National des
Canadiens -francais 1608-1760.
