Shower Her With Flowers
And Tell Her

With Valentine's Day approaching quickly, now is the time to show your appreciation for that "Special Person" in your life and let her know what she means to you. Nothing says it quite so well as a box of long stemmed roses. Or perhaps a bouquet of her favorite flowers such as daisies tied in a pretty bow to tell her your love is as fresh as the day you first met; or an arrangement piece designed just for her. Whatever your choice may be, I have provided a selection of online florists for you to refer to at your convenience. Well worth the effort to see your lovely lady smile with pleasure at your thoughtfulness in providing a ray of sunshine in her life.

Tips on Flower Care

Flowers are as delicate as a young lover's heart. With proper care, they can make a lasting impression and give many days of enjoyment.

After you receive your flowers, fill a sink with lukewarm water, submerge the stems, and, using a sharp knife, cut an inch off each stem under water. Do not use scissors. This may cause a stem to be crushed which will prevent the absorbtion of any more water to the flowers. Remove all leaves below the water line. Add a flower extender, such as Floralife, and change the water every 2 days to keep bacteria from flourishing. Finally, keep cut roses/flowers out of direct sunlight and in as cool a spot as possible. If you are not home much during the day, place them in the fridge (not the freezer) to keep them fresher longer. It works for the florists!!!! :) AND most of all, enjoy their beauty!!!!
