When he met rose, it was fate that they be together, for there paths had crossed throughout their lives at different times, but always just missing each other, till one day when he stopped in a restaurant for lunch one day, and began from there. Though faced with unsurmountable odds that they could make it, both had high debts, five kids who tried all they could (as kids will do), to keep them from staying together. they felt enough to get through it all and become man and wife, and all he did for her kids as well as his own earned him deep respect by them all, and changed the path of destruction that the kids were heading down to be productive succesful people as they grew up, he would spend 10 to 14 hours a day at work then come home and take care of any problems that arose throughout the day with the family and never complain about any of it, for it was in watching them grow and learn from thier mistakes and accomplish new things that he felt his reward. he loved life and had infinate wisdom on how to live it and used his experiences to guide others around him in the right direction of life and growth, to him life was about love, children and family, without family , he often said thier would be no purpose for life, and he had a saying he loved to live his life by that he got from his uncle jimmy hoffa..."ILLEGITIME NON CARBURUNDUM...DON'T LET THE BASTARDS WEAR YOU OUT!" he seemed to have an unending patience that showed in all his dealings with us kids and those around him, but he wouldn't hesitate in defending his family, or correcting us when we did wrong, as gentle and patient as he was, he could turn and be just as mean and hard when he had to, but everyone always knew they had it coming when he did, because he always did it with love and an honest purpose..never with hatred or spite.
