HIS FINAL DASH

As time went on, each of us kids grew up and went our own ways and as the last of us, my youngest sister went out in the world, my dad and his wife rose decided to move to las vegas were they had wanted to live for some time, to enjoy life and have some fun as they grew older. even as we all grew up and lived hundreds of miles apart from each other he was always there to lend a helping hand and help with what he could, a few dollars to help with the rent, a place to sleep as we came through town, words of advice when we needed it. through out his whole life he was always ready to help others whenever he could, he even took in someone from where his wife rose worked to help the guy out until he could get his own place and on his own. then as the years went passed and he got older he began to get sick, with diabeties, and his eyesight got worse and he began to lose wieght, until he couldnt drive any more, then towards the end he was bedriddin, but that didnt keep him down, he still helped us out financially and with advice, never stopped giving all the way to the end! i dont think thier ever could be another man to match him in all he did and gave of himself, it has been been six months since he left this world to go home with the famly members that left before him, but he is still in all our lives, as we go through day to day living, each of us remember the words of wisdom he left us when we need them in times of trouble, in fact just the other day i had a dream and in the dream i seen his figure come through a cloud and he called to me, asking how i have been and asked if i could sit for a while, but but i told him i'd love to dad if i could find the time, the new jobs a hassle and i have so much to do, he just smiled and said thats ok, then as his figure moved back into the clouds he called to me saying , when you coming home son? and i just replied....I dont know when, but it's sure been nice talking to you dad, you know we'll have a good time then!MAY THE EAGLE GUIDE YOU SAFELY HOME AND KEEP YOU SAFE DAD!
