Ingredients
1 C yellow corn meal
3/4 C all purpose flour
1 T. sugar
1 T baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 C FF milk
1 egg or 1/4 C egg sub.
2 T vegetable oil
1 can (8 3/4 oz.) cream-style corn
Place first five (dry) ingredients into a small bowl
Mix well with wire whisk.
Place last four (wet) ingredients into a small bowl mix well.
Add wet to dry ingredients mixing lightly and pour into 9x9 pan prepared with Butter Pam spray
Bake 450 preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool slightly before cutting into 9 squares.
