Whole Wheat Buns

    Ingredients

      1 C water
      2 T butter
      1 egg
      3 C whole wheat flour
      1 tsp salt
      1 T dry instant yeast
      1 T wheat gluten


    Put all ingredients into bread machine run through dough cycle. Divide evenly into 12 balls. Cover, let rest about 10 minutes.

    Place on baking sheet, for hamburger buns, flatten with the palm of your hand, For hotdog buns, roll between the palms of your hand to make in the shape of a hotdog, lay on the sheet, flatten slightly, Let rise 30 - 40 minutes.

    Bake at 375 about 12 minutes.

    Note: Add seasonings to dough and make rolls, bread, or bread sticks.
