Harvest Baked Apples

    Servings: 4 / Units per serving=4


    Ingredients

      4 medium baking apples
      1/4 C apple or orange juice
      1/8 C brown sugar
      1/4 C cinnamon
      1/2 C 2% sharp cheddar cheese
      1/8 C raisins
      1/8 C chopped pecans, toasted


    Core apples to within 1/2 inch of bottom, pierce skin with a sharp knife. Place apples in baking dish. Combine juice, sugar and cinnamon, pour over apples.

    Bake @ 350 degrees, 30- 35 minutes or until tender, basting occasionally

    Remove apples from oven.. Combine cheese, raisins and pecans; spoon evenly into center. Let stand 1 minute.
