Ingredients
Rolls:
1 pkg Pillsbury Hot Roll Mix
1 C water, heated to 120-130 F.
2 T-LF margarine, softened
2 T apple juice
2 egg whites
1/3 C firmly packed brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Glaze:
1/4 C powdered sugar
2-3 tsp skim milk
In large bowl, combine flour mixture with yeast from
foil pkg, blend well. Stir in hot water, margarine and
egg whites until dough pulls away from sides of bowl.
Turn dough onto lightly floured surface.. With
greased or floured hands, shape dough into a ball.. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth.. Cover dough with large bowl. Let rest 5 minutes.
Spray two 8 or 9 inch square pans with nonstick spray….On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 18 x 10 inch rectangle.. Brush with apple juice.
In small bowl combine brown sugar and cinnamon, mix well. Sprinkle evenly over dough.
Starting with 18 inch side, roll tightly, pressing edge to seal. Cut into 18 slices, place cut side down in spray coated pans, ( 9 in each pan) cover, let rise in warm place (80-85 F) 30
minutes or until doubled in size.
Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes until golden brown..
Remove from oven let cool slightly.
In small bowl, combine powdered sugar and milk for desired consistency… Blend until smooth, drizzle over warm rolls.
