Barbequed Aisan Flank Steak

    Ingredients

      1 pound flank steak
      1/4 cup sherry
      1/4 cup soy sauce, low sodium
      1/4 cup honey
      2 T white vinegar
      1 T ginger, minced
      1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
      2 cloves garlic, crushed


    Combine first 8 ingredients in a large zip-top bag; seal.
    Marinate in refrigerator 8 hours, turning bag occasionally.

    Prepare grill or broiler

    Remove steak from bag, reservng marinade. Place marinade in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook one minute.

    Place steak on grill rack or broiler pan coated with cooking spray; cook 8 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness, basting frequently with reserve marinade. Cut steak along grain diagonally into thin slices.
