ANGELFOOD PINEAPPLE CAKE
12 servings @ 3 UNITS
Ingredients
1 Fat free box angel food cake mix
20 oz. Can pineapple in its own juice
Frosting
Frosting for cake will add 2 units per serving
8 oz. Carton fat free cool whip
1 package vanilla sugar free instant pudding mix
20 oz. Can of crushed and mostly drained pineapple
Mix the two together by hand (ignore box directions) and gets foamy. Pour into 13x9¿ glass baking dish that has been lightly sprayed with Pam.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, till golden brown.
Turn off the oven and leave inside for a few minutes so it doesn't fall. Leave in pan. Do not turn upside down as box instructs.
Cut into 12 pieces. One square is 3 Units
Top with 2 T Cool whip, no additional Units. Can be made with other canned fruits. Make sure pieces aren't too large or they will sink to the bottom.
Mix and frost cake.
