Ingredients
1 pkg angel food cake mix
3/4 C unsweetened applesauce
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips ( 1 C)
2 oz coarsely/chopped pecans ( 1/2 C)
Preheat oven to 300°F. Line 2 cooking sheets with parchment paper. Combine cake mix and applesauce in a large bowl mix until light. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by small spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake
until lightly browned, about 15 to 20 minutes. Yields: one cookie per serving.
