Ingredients
4 T light butter, melted
1/2 C packed light brown sugar
1/2 C uncooked quick oats
1/4 C almonds, toasted and chopped
1 T orange zest
2 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp of vanilla
Heat oven to 350°, Cover three baking sheets with parchment paper and coat with cooking spray.
Combine all ingredients
Drop 1/2 teaspoons of dough 2 inches apart on prepared sheets.
Bake until flattened and golden brown, about 10 minutes.
Cool completely on wire racks; carefully remove cookies from paper.
Note: Make sure to use parchment or wax paper on the pan, cookies caramelize, and will stick, you won't be able to lift them off…….
