Ingredients
7 C apples
1 C splenda granular
3 T cornstarch
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp salt
2-crust pie
Preheat oven to 425 degrees, place bottom crust into 9-inch pie pan. .
Put sliced apples into a lg mixing bowl and set aside. Combine splenda, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt, sprinkle over apples and toss.
Spoon into piecrust, put second crust over the filling, seal edges, trim and flute. Make small openings in the top crust.
Bake 40-50 minutes or until the top crust is golden.
Serve warm or chilled.
