Ingredients
1/4 C stick margarine
3 T flour
1/8 tsp white pepper
1 (14-1/2 oz) can FF, red-sodium chicken broth
1/2 C - FF milk
2 T dry white wine
1 lb bag frozen broccoli spears or cuts/thawed
1-1/2 C cooked, skinless/boneless chicken breast cubed
2 T grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8x8-inch square pan with nonstick cooking spray.
In a medium skillet, melt margarine. Add flour and pepper and stir until smooth. Cook, stirring as needed, until thickened, about 1 minute. Add broth and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles, 3-4 minutes. Add milk and wine; reduce the heat to low.
Spread broccoli evenly in the baking pan.
Scatter chicken over the broccoli, cover evenly with the sauce. Top with cheese. Bake until lightly browned, 20-25 minutes.
