Ingredients
1/2 lb yellow potatoes
16 med cloves garlic/peeled
5 T water (cooking water from potatoes)
Salt & ground black pepper to taste
Wash potatoes, do not peel, cut into 1-inch pieces. Put in medium saucepan, add cold water to cover. Top with a lid bring to a boil, cook 10 minutes. Add garlic cloves continue to boil covered, 5 minutes. Remove 5 tablespoons cooking water, drain mash potatoes and garlic, Whisk in reserved water. Add salt and pepper and serve.
