Ingredients
1 C - NF instant dry powdered milk
1 C nondairy powdered creamer
1 C nondairy FF French Vanilla Powder Creamer
20 oz Splenda
1 1/2 C prepared powdered instant unsweetened tea
2 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground cardamom
In a large bowl, combine milk powder, creamers, sugar, and instant tea. Stir in ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom. In a blender or food processor, blend 1 cup at a time, until mixture is the consistency of fine powder.
To serve: stir 2 heaping tablespoons Chai tea mix into mug of hot water.
*Notes: You may choose to omit French vanilla creamer and use 2 tsp. vanilla extract instead. To do so, mix vanilla into the sugar, let it dry, then break the sugar into small lumps and follow procedure above.
For spicy chai, add 1 tsp each of nutmeg, allspice and 1/4 tsp white pepper.
