Onion Soup

    Servings: 6 / Units per serving=2

    WW Boards


      2 C sliced onion
      1 T Splenda or sugar
      3 T - RF margarine
      5 C- FF beef or chicken broth
      1 T cornstarch
      6 slices Red. Cal. bread, toasted
      3/4 cup grated LF cheese

    Sauté onions in margarine & sweetener until soft and tender, Add cornstarch, stir well, add broth, salt, and pepper, Bring to a boil, place square of toast in each individual soup dish, ladle soup and sprinkle generously with grated cheese. Broil until cheese is melted & lightly browned.
