Asparagus

    Ingredients

      1 1/2 T rice vinegar
      2 tsp sesame seeds, toasted
      2 tsp grated peeled fresh ginger
      2 tsp vegetable oil
      1 tsp minced shallots
      1/2 tsp sea salt
      1/2 tsp LS soy sauce
      1/2 tsp honey
      1/4 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
      1/4 tsp black pepper
      5 C (1-inch) diagonally cut asparagus(about 2 lbs)
      steamed and chilled


    Combine first 10 ingredients, stirring with a whisk. Combine vinegar mixture and asparagus; toss well. When asparagus is out of season in the winter and fall, use fresh green beans or broccoli.
