Cheesy Microwave Potatoes

    Ingredients

      5 medium uncooked potatoes
      4 T reduced margarine
      4 slices of cheese
      1 small onion(chopped)
      2 T garlic powder seasoning(Tony's)
      1/2 bellpepper(chopped)


        Note: You could also add a little ham, omit the green pepper, use cauliflower or broccoli and low fat cheese instead of regular to lower units. Or keep it in the recipe. The more veggies the better.

    Spray a glass or microwave safe dish with Pam spray. Peel potatoes and slice into chunks or rounds. Put in dish. In another container,melt margarine in microwave and pour over potatoes and mix. Add onion and bellpepper. Tear slices of cheese add to dish and stir. Add garlic powder and seasoning. Stir well.

    Microwave(lid on)for 18 minutes. Stir about halfway through cooking time. Microwave until potatoes are tender.
