Del sings Hank Williams Rambling Man Del loved Hank Williams music and recorded an album of Hank's songs in 1964 backed by some of the Royaltones including Dennis Coffey and Bob Babbit Kreinar, Marcus Terry, and Bill Knight. The Royaltones played on Del's Amy Records recordings. On steel guitar is Buddy Gibson, a friend of Del's. If you want to learn of at least a part of Del Shannon's musical influences, here's some of it. For those who like tradional county, the album is well worth buying. "Rambling Man" might have been an appropriate song to have been played at Del Shannon's funeral.
