HOBO NICKEL - "BUTCH" - The Auto Salvage Guy

For the past few months I've been building an old time "hot rod" car, or better known today as a Street Rod. Butch owns the local auto salvage yard, where a lot of the parts I need come from. He is one heck of a nice guy with a big quick smile, a funny remark, and always needs a hair cut.
I carved this likeness of him and gave it to him to show my appreciation for the good deals he is always giving me. He got a big kick out of it and then said "sell it for me on eBay and I'll split what we get for it with you. I've wanted to take a trip somewhere out of Wyoming for a while now, and this is my chance!" So that's the story on this carving.

Butch is carved on a weak date 1921 buffalo nickel and it is signed on the reverse with my usual G hanging J mark. It has a good smooth field and a lot of detail--right down to the old ribbed neck T-shirt Butch always wears.

Happy collecting and thanks for looking,
