HOBO NICKEL - "FUR TRAPPER"

When the Fur Trapper, later known as a Mountain Man, first came to the Rocky Mountains to trap beaver one of his main concerns was the Indian. By the same token, the Indian was quite concerned about the Mountain Man being in his domain.

This hobo nickel, done on a full date 1934 buffalo nickel, depicts the half crazy Mountian Man. However, even though it dosn't show well in the picture, when the nickel is tilted side to side it holograms into the profile image of the Indian. So what we have here is the Mountian Man and the Indian, each carrying the ghost of the other.

Everyone that I have shown this to here thinks it is amazing. If you buy it and don't agree, once you see it in person, I will gladly take it back and refund your money, including shipping both ways.
As always, it has my G hanging J mark on the reverse.

Have fun bidding and thank you for looking,
