The house Pluto resides is where all of this stuff works out in a person's chart. In the United States chart, the compulsion is through the acquisition and use of money. Hitler rants, huge armies assemble, the vast utilization of power both physical and political. Obsessions become global in scope and transform themselves into movements whether organized or disorganized. That's Pluto. But that's the destructive side. The constructive side is the growing use of x-rays and radiation to heal, the ability to map the human genome and eventually do away with such horrors and hemophilia. Hemophilia-that's where the revolutionary, genetic, and detructive aspects of Pluto all meet. The story: Queen Victoria had (perhaps by mutation) an carrier gene for hemophilia. Several of her daughters married into royal families, particularly the Royal Family of Russia. Due to royal inbreeding, Queen Alexandra married into the Russian royal family and gave birth to Prince Alexi, who was hemophiliac and was prone to bleeding. Her desire to protect her wounded Prince led her to stubbornly resist any attempts at reforming the outdated royal system of Russia for fear her son would be harmed in some way. So instead of a reformed modern system that would have channeled revolutionary pressures into real reform, the pressures lead to the embrace of radical revolution instead. It also leads the royals to be so obsessed with the fate of the Prince that they were listening to Rasputin instead of experienced political leadership trying to warn them of the danger. After all, Rasputin was a holy man who could keep Alexi alive, and they feared losing Rasputin. We all know what happened in the end-violent, explosive, and degenerative to say the least. Millions died in the ensuing holocausts that followed.
