"Easy Ed" was one of the Celtics first superstars.

Was a member of the Celtics for six seasons, from 1950-51 through 1955-56.

Was on the All-NBA first team in 1951, 1952 and 1953.

Was on the All-NBA second team in 1954.

6-time NBA All-Star.

Was the 1951 NBA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player in the first ever All-Star Game, which was played at the Boston Garden on March 2, 1951.

Elected to the Naismith Memorial basketball Hall of Fame in 1960.
