What is this thing that disturbs my sleep, again tonight as the night before and before? No slow uncoil of my fetal form, no sunbeams shine on an early morn. Now jarred awake by a force unseen, quiet and calm as the eye of a storm. Is it a message from a foreign shore, some mother's child calling home, misguided among so many more? Or is it perhaps my dying day? death sneaking in to steal me away. You've got my attention whoever you are. But when I rise and shine, They no longer seem to be mine. Where did they go? I do not know.
