Hi, my name is Dale, I'm 32, live in Juneau, Alaska (not in an igloo mind you). I enjoy being outside as much as possible, weather permitting, sometimes that don't matter. I enjoy hiking, fishing, bike riding, photography of wildlife and Alaskan scenery, or just hanging out at the Duck Inn, my dad's property. My name's Tom Pearce and I'm a duo retiree. I served in the Air Force from July, 1952 until August, 1972, when I retired. In March, 1974, I accepted a job as superintendent of a Drinking Water Facility in the city of Waynesboro, Ga. I retired from there in October, 1994. In Sept. 1997, I was diagnosed with colon cancer and in Oct. was operated on. Part of the colon and the cancer was removed. However, the surgeon discovered the cancer had gone to my liver. In Feb. 1998 I had another operation to implant a pump to feed Chemo directly to the liver. They said without it I wouldn't make it. But somebody forgot to tell God! Because after the shock treatment to the liver with Chemo, it was determined by CT Scan and blood tests, that I was cancer free!! Yes!! I am a cancer survivor! After 11 months of medical treatment, I am finally able to return to my Webtv!
