(Since I Met You Baby)
Doris (Moo-Maw)

Hello Group! My name is Doris. I live in small town about 40 miles from Louisville, in the beautiful "Bluegrass State" of Kentucky. I am 58 years YOUNG, recently divorced, with 4 great children! (after all I raised them) I have 16 Grand and Great-Grandkids. I am a funloving person with a positive look on life. I work everyday still, and hope I will always feel like doing it..."an active body makes for active mind." I love doing group things like going out to eat, bingo, dancing, karaoke (can't sing), and lots more. I love people that enjoy LIFE! Phyllis (Ninja)

Hello YAH! I passed the half-century mark over 4 yrs ago and am looking forward to the next 50 years. I have been gainfully involved in the horse business since I was 11 yrs old, much to the chagrin of my parents, who are still living and will celebrate 60 yrs marriage next March. At present I own and operate a small horse farm which caters to Thouorghbred Race Horses which I call "NotJustAnother Horse Farm." This, of course, requires my working 24/7, 365 days a year, so my webbie has been a God-send which keeps me from being cut off from the world entirely. I also breed Jack Russell Terriers. I tend to be quiet and shy, but my webbie and groups like YAH have helped to bring me out of my shell. At present I am studying to be a minister with the Understanding Principles for Better Living Church, whose mother church is in Chicago and is called Christ Universal Temple. I thank God daily for being led to YAH by JO, whom I have yet to meet in person. Come visit my horse farm.

Hi! I'm married with 3 children, ages 19, 22, and 29, and I have three wonderful grandchildren. I love life and I try to be a good person. I am disabled so I have dedicated my time to causes. I write poetry about the whales, wolves, children of hunger, and Love and Hope, for a world our grandchildren can inherit. I love reading poetry. I spend my time building webpages to help those who are unable to help themselves. I support our oceans and our wonderful land in my webpages. I try to speak for the abused children, the hungry and homeless folks. I try to give dignity in my poetry for all. I care ... Your friend in all that is humanity, Gypsy and Diane Steve (StephenMR)

Hi! I was married to Trin (Trinidee) for 40 years and when she passsed on, on 9-17-2001, I started to use her WebTV. I was born and raised in California and owned a typewriter shop for 35 years. I now raise German Shepherds. This was the place my wife loved and I think I will continue here at YAH also. Alex (brah1)

I live on a houseboat and share it with a few of my "critters". We winter down south, in Florida, and then sail north for the summer. Bob (OldGap)

I'm a retired technical writer trying to find ways to pass the time. I've done some volunteer work, which was enjoyable, but I have been having problems with my legs, and that sort of cramps my style just a tad! ;-) Gail (forevrDreamin)

I'm Gail from So. Calif. originally born in Philadelphia, Pa. I've been divorced for over 20 years so I consider myself single (beyond divorced)! I have two sons and 7 grandchildren. I've been working in surgery as a Surgical Coordinator for many years and find it very interesting and very worthwhile. I love the ocean and feel very centered while there. It brings peace to my soul. I'm very happy to have come across YAH and all of the warm people in this group. Katie (katie631)

Hi YAH, I'm Katie! I was born and raised in New Jersey, but after my marriage I lived in New York for 32 years. My Husband and I moved back to New Jersey six years ago, and we live in a very active adult community. There just aren't enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do. I like to read, travel, play cards etc. I love to play with my computer and my Webtv. I have three children, 36, 33 and 31 years old. No grandchildren yet, but I do have two cats, that my kids call my substitute grandchildren. ;-) Cindy (syndee_1999)

Hey there! My name is Cindy and I am from Virginia. I have been on the web for about 3 years now and it has become my best friend! (smile) After being in a wheelchair for, lets see, 48 years now, and never learning how to drive, my webby has become my car, my airplane, my boat, and my train! I use it to travel all over and meet my webbie friends! I love to crochet, and watch my soaps. Ah yes, at one time I was "young and restless" and "as the world turns" I was "searching for tomorrow" by "the guiding light"! LOL! Sweet Pea (misstwiddle)

Hi! I'm Sweet Pea! I live in upstate N.Y., just outside the Adirondack Park, in the house where I grew up; with my youngest brother who was alone after our parents passed away. I'm 64 years young and have been retired for 7 years. My daughter is 45, my son was 33 when he passed away in 1997. I have 4 Grandsons and a Great- granddaughter who will be 4 in January of 2003. Two of my Grandsons are bothers from Ethiopia, my daughter and her husband adopted them at ages 9 and 10. The oldest lost his life in the WTC disaster on 9/11/01. I've had my webbie for two and a half years and spend a good deal of time surfing on the net, playing games, and meeting new friends thru the YAH NG. I also love to read and watch tv programs, mostly during the daytime; unless I find a good movie. (smile)
