On September 11, 1998, Young-At-Heart lost
one of
our original members to God. Her name was Virginia
Martin. She lived in southern Illinois and her online
name was
~ Jen58 ~.
Jenny was a lovely lady,
with
a
wonderful
sense of humor.
She was a beautiful
spirit, and
we are all the better for having known her.
She
will
be
missed by her many friends,
those in her daily
life,
as
well as
those of us who only knew her
via the
internet.
You are as free
as your beautiful bluebird, Jen.
And though we
are
apart,
you will be
forever...
in our hearts.
"I didn't know you Jen, however...."
"I'LL LOOK FOR YOU IN HEAVEN"
I wish I could have known you
before you went away
A fine and glorious person
From what your Friends all say
I'll look for you in heaven
When it's time for me to go
A flower in my button hole
A white one that will show
Gone but not forgotten
Is the way the story goes
Remembered by the ones you knew
As a "stately long stemmed Rose"

"I was priviledged to meet Jen back
when Young-At-Heart was born. She took the time
to
make a "newbie" like me really feel welcome.
The
quality I
will always associate
with Jen is class.
Jenny
was
a "classy lady!"

"I had just seen Jen's bluebird elsewhere
and it
reminded me of her."
She will be
missed...."
...Kitty
"I will miss my WebTV friend.
Jen and I worked on
her
Web page together.
She used my grandson for her
logo
for the
grandchildren newsgroup. She was a
delight to
know
and
I
will miss my buddy and award winner."
...LeFantome..aka Bill
"I didn't know Jenny either in person or through
the
internet. However, you can certainly tell
the
value
of
an individual
by the many friends they have.
It's pretty obvious this lady had
many friends.
Each of us is here for such a short
while.
We are
not given friends, we must earn them,
through our
actions and our deeds.
The
words I have read "dear Jenny" tells me
your actions were many, and
your deeds
will out shine the sun. Thank you,
for being the
person you must have been.
The loss I must bear
is I didn't get to know
you."

"Doug wrote this poem for my website
and I would like
to share it here.

"I BELIEVE"
I have a "special" Angel
Who watches over me
A Guardian that I cherish
Who hears my every plea
My Angel is so pretty
Adorned with soft white wings
Wind swept hair a-flowing
A glow to me she brings
I love my little Angel
She's with me day and night
And when I enter darkness
She extends to me her light
You also have an Angel
To make your spirits glow
To keep you safe and happy
Believe me...cause I know.
