He was sitting against one arm of the sofa and I was sitting against the other arm with my back facing the hallway. We were facing one another and just talking about nothing in particular, when I saw something move swiftly out of the corner of my eye to my left. It was a quick movement as if something or someone were in the hallway. At the same time, I felt a swoosh of air at the back of my neck which blew my hair around.

I turned my head to the left and looked into the hallway and said to my boyfriend, "Did you just see something?"

He said, "No, what did you see?" I told him what happened and about the swoosh of air. He got up and said, "let's look".

We both walked into the hallway and into his bedroom and we both felt something that gave us immediate chills and the hair was standing up on both our arms!

His bedroom was icy cold, a sharp contrast to the rest of the apartment and the soft September night. We walked into the living room again and the temperature was normal. We then walked back into the bedroom and it was icy cold in there again.

He is Chinese, and he told me that this is why the Chinese don't put mirrors in their bedrooms, because they think it opens up a gateway for spirits to enter.
